As Steveo said, put a big motor into any car and it'll go fast in a straight line. Personally, I don't derive much driving pleasure going fast on the highway. You need to ask yourself which would you find more challenging... going fast in a straight line or through corners? It's when you hit the bends that shows what you and your car are made of. What makes you conclude that the C63 is more brutal and harder to drive than the M3? Is it because the C63 goes weak knee and start falling over itself through the corners? Or are you ignoring the fact the M3's chassis and suspension are so well developed and finely balanced that slicing through apices is a breeze compared to the C63? |

okey, but from what ive understand the chassie isnt bad on it.. it is just very hard to control? and thats about it who is better on bmw? ive never heard of a bmw who has better comfort then a benz. And benz are not cheap when they place luxury toys in theres cars. I know, i own a 08 c320 cdi avantgarde and 01 e240 avantgarde. ive also drive alot bmw. My best friend has a 530i -08. And most of the case bmw is more fun to drive. That's bmw.. A Fun car! but in this case.. with this power, this mental car.. i cant say the m3 is more fun anymore. When i drive the c63 amg i couldnt stop laughing.. It was so fun to drive.. a experience.. It was like top gear say in the test.. Its a animal.. me and my friend was walking arround thinking of it whole day after the test run. But ive not drive m3. I can be wrong.. But mental cars use to be more fun if u ask me. bmw looks to week. edit: Quote:
everyone can drive the m3.. But you need good skills to drive the benz... But if you have, you can drive it fast also. And the monster engine doesn't make it easyer to drive fast in corners. To much trottle and you drift of the track. Last edited by mjaa; 05-25-2008 at 04:53 PM.. |

If you push you car through turns (not just straight) you'll wind up wrecking the benz. As fast as the benz is, I'm sure that it will be much slower than the bmw after you wrap it around something. If all you want to do is drive straight and maybe a little fast through turns then go ahead and by a benz. If you want to push your car more seriously through turns and on the straightaways then I'd seriously consider the bmw. It's just a question of how you drive. If you think it's a question of how good a driver you are then I don't think you really understand both cars. |

But you only need to brake, then it comes back on until you stop brake. But its hard to argue witch one is the best.. Its 2 different cars.. and this is a bmw forum :P But in the end both cars are great. Bmw has faster handling, mb has faster engine. |

That was a great episode!
However I think that was a re-post.

I can't believe I missed this...3+ years later. I've never had the opportunity to test drive a C63 AMG but after watching the video...doesn't excite me as much.
Did they weld the diff together or something? I'm sure an LSD would help but how much? Which goes to show you numbers don't tell the whole story...
