I have the Dinan exhaust (ordered from Colin) sitting at Calgary BMW waiting for me to get back home..I was going to get the Dinan Flash as well, but I would like to talk to some other shops to see whats available in the calgary area....Also, what about intakes? I see the thread about the $850 Dinan intake system, but I am looking for something a little more realistic in price....any reccomendations from the group? price? ordered from??

Hey,

My car has seen the inside of Tuner Works more than a few time.
They have been awesome. Let me know if you want to see the results.
I would be happy to meet up with you.
I am still very interested in hearing the Dinan exhaust live and not on You Tube.

Great day on the track today.
Every second car was an M3 and they were flying!
For once I had the only white m3.
Jerez black was out in full effect.
It is time to drink some beer and lick my wounds.

I would love to hear the Dinan exhaust in real life as well. Sometimes I feel my Eisenmann is a little too loud inside the vehicle (usually when my wife is in the car I'm told I "should feel" it's too loud....

Reg @ RCTS is amazing.

My Dinan Camber Plates are coming out as we speak..... God damn it!!

On Dinan's site...."Front Camber Plates are now available for use with the Stage 1 Suspension". I did NOT have the springs done, therefore car not lowered. Calgary BMW has spoken with Dinan as did Reg at RCTS and according to Dinan the Camber Plates have NOT been tested on a car with stock springs. They said they designed them for a lowered car with stiffer springs. They said the car will actually be HIGHER then stock now and will probably become "squirrelly" at higher speeds..... HUH!!

So, yes the spin on the track was my fault as the car was way different and I didn't back off but other factors did play a part. So, Calgary BMW removed the plates and things seem back to normal. Now just dealing with refunds, etc...

Wow, that it is great feedback.
I was thinking of doing this with Tuner Works and they did not give me this info. I am assuming camber plates are the same what ever company you use so if you need to replace the springs, not sure now???

Are they going back to Dinan, if not I will take them off your hands.

Yeah, not really sure. I guess Dinan designs them for a lowered car but not sure about anyone else. Reg at RCTS said he has never added camber to a BMW without doing springs first.

Hey Jason,

Missed you at the lapping night on Monday. Jay had me teaching all night, did I just miss you?

Anyway, Calgary BMW and I are still in "discussions" as they have the plates and I haven't got my money back for them. So I'll either be getting the plates back or my money back.... I would think. I'll let you know if I get the plates back and want to sell them.
