Car keyed

Car keyed down the right (passenger) side. Any recommendations in DFW area? Did all 3 panels (two swipes) into the clear coat. Many thanks...

Thankfully, no. I'm just finishing grad school so I had it kept away for awhile. Still haven't fixed it and since I'm getting close to graduating I figure I might treat myself and the poor car.

I got a quote from Stuarts, but I wanted a few other alternatives to evaluate.

Thanks!

depending on how bad it is, id try to buff it out, and use a filler wax.

depending on your paint color, you can get away with touch up paint, sand paper, buffer, and polishes. it wont be PERFECT, but it will be about 80% gone. only noticable from weird angles after the work.

feel free to shoot me a pm if you need help.

Its an M3, not a civic!!
I think it deserves better then some sand paper and touch up paint.

do you have any real world experience? ive detailed cars for a while now and done plenty customer cars that way. if you know anything about what you're talking about, maybe you will understand the process, and TRULY know how paint works.

but i must admit, the cars i did were E46 M3s, E60 m5s, E63 M6, and countless E39 m5s.

i suppose a e9x isnt worthy, and would be degraded to a civic.

Actually, ya I have! Ive been detailing cars since i was 10 years old. So I happen to know a thing or two about detailing, I should probably mention that I also worked for a year at a body shop, prepping cars for paint. So I have quite the experience...and you will never convince me (or any member with any real knowledge) that sand paper and some touch paint would do the job.
