So is it Saturday or Sunday? Is it the Weekend of the 16th or 30th? The 23rd is that bimmer event in Marco Island so wont be a good date

Eduardo informed me of this event. So I am back to lurking the M3 regional forum again for a little while, hehe.

I vote for Sunday the 31st.

Don't worry about my M3, she just looks like an X6M but she's really an M3 that eats a lot of twinkies...

Great!we have secured pro pictures with David onboard along with his mutant M3
Sunday 31st seems ok to me also and nicebraces was also available for the 31st, feel free to post your choice of date, majority will rule!
What about the place, David any suggestions based on your photography skills?

Well we already know Watson Island works so it's a good "Plan B" if we don't find anything different. I am going to do some serious thinking about location for 20+ cars and a nice backdrop for photography.

Off the top of my head, there's one spot I can think of that was also mentioned last time by the Miami River and I actually went there after our meet (different day) to check it out. Could be cool and could fit maybe 10-15 cars, more would be pushing it. Problem is, there were taxis there and valets temporarily parking cars - this was late at night though.

I might cruise by there and see if they'd be open to blocking off the space or at least being aware of the meet for a couple of hours for us to meet and shoot.

Also this is right next to a residential condo tower/hotel (The Viceroy) so again, not sure how much of an issue or not we might be there in large numbers.

It's a long shot though, but worth trying. That's the only one that I have at the top of my head.

The top of some parking garage with a view might be cool also!

Looking forward to everyone's suggestions for a place as well!

sounds good any place where we can take nice pictures, if you know any location in Broward County that will also work, I think last meet most of the M3s were coming from that area but any place with nice backdrop for photography will be ok, I am posting a roll call so everybody can see who will assist, we have 4 weeks to make this meet a great turnout

But if we don't have any cool locations, I guess we can stick with Miami.


A rooftop shoot would be awesome as David said.

Hey Trevor, you finally showed up (almost got fired!)
As per the location lets see how many cars we end up having on this meet so we can choose the location, as David said those spots are good if we are 15 cars or less, if we go over that number we should look for an alternative spot, I dont know if we can find in Broward big space with nice ocean background???

Broward is cool, and change of scenery anyway.

One place for sure in Broward is Westin Diplomat in Hollywood parking garage. I always park at the top floor when I go there and it tends to be empty.

The one possible deal-breaker issue with parking garages in general will be cost. Not sure how many people will be happy about shelling out $10-$15 just to hang out in a parking garage for a couple of hours, even if there's a view, and M's involved.

It might kill the turnout.

I am going to roll by one of these upcoming weekends around 6-7pm and scope it out.

wasn't Miami riverwalk the place we wanted to go to last time but got rained on, and never made it?

David, i see your photos are on flickr. I see most nice photos are on flickr, why is that? Love the pics btw.


Oh yea, and where are we eating, this has to be addressed now so we can avoid the whole fiasco like last time, scrambling to find a place in the rain.
