Agree with the above. Good opportunity to do belts and pulleys. The AC compressor also fails and it’s a bigger job but adding that on isn’t a bad idea. I did the opposite last year at 110k miles: failed ac compressor led to alternator replacement because i was in there.

I just went through this in the fall.
water pump thermostat alternator A/c compressor all idler pulleys water hoses tensioner belts coolant "Just do it" !!!!!! |
