What part is this and DIY possible..
Hello All,
First and formost deepest thanks to the wonderful people on the forum. I just replaced oil filter housing rings, VCG and vacuum pump rings.. All on from the guides from the forums and reading other's posts. My e90 2006 (89K miles) is still smoking, but as far as i can see the parts i replaced are holding and no leaks. I can see oil seeping off a pipe connectionat the top of the dome with engine running. See pic attached. And thats the only part where i see smoke generated from now once car heats up. I am not sure what it is, and struggling to find answers. So please help identify and guide to diy if possible... |

Taking into consideration your tags, that looks like the oxygen sensor on the n46 engine.
