Life changes are going to require me to actually go through with this, and sell this car.

I'm a true enthusiast and will only ever drive BMW's.

This is a properly maintained, properly daily driven, two owner - e90 m3.

I did the actuators (well GMP Performance did) about six weeks ago.

I've owned the car since the beginning of 2017 (almost two years). The water pump was done in April 2017. Brakes were done at the same time. It needs new rear tires, the front tires are about 40% - Michelin Pilot Super Sports.

Car currently has 116,5xx miles and will only go up a few hundred miles. This will be the last week I daily it.

It's not perfect but its a VERY strong driver and I would trust it to go anywhere. The front bumper/hood has rock chips, etc. The DSC button is loose (you can't tell unless you touch it), driver's seat bolster is starting to show wear but it's still in pretty good shape.

The AC blows cold, heat is hot. All electronics work, no codes or anything strange. Drives straight and true.

I will miss it and yes I know what I have here. I've done more research and it looks like this is 1 of 520 comp manual sedan's, and one of only a handful of MR cars.

*Edit: also missed your post about not performing the rod bearing service. At your mileage many people would have expected them to be swapped out and if not the next owner will most likely swap them out right away, so that might hurt you for what your asking as well. I think.

This car is priced right. Very few MR ZCP sedans made and even less in manual. Depending on what a PPI says about condition and how clean it is, $30k is fair for both parties. I'd love to buy this to match my IB E90

I feel like most people on this forum know these cars and I like to think I do too.

Rod Bearings haven't been done. I'm not hiding anything, it's a good car.

If you look at the thread, I've put it up for sale and kept it 2-3 times because I really don't want to sell it but right now, it's the right choice. I will forever regret it but life happens.

You are being completely transparent with everything about the car as far as I can see. Was just making a statement about the lack of RB swap thats all.

Im sure someone will be all over this, sometimes it just takes some time.

Also, very sorry to hear that you have to sell your baby. All of us on this forum can relate to the fact that you truly do build a deep connection with these cars with each and every drive.

Maybe later you can jump back into one when life permits

Im very interested. There is a nice space gray on here that already has rod bearings done, less miles and he’s asking $26,900. Tempting but space gray isn’t one of my favorite colors. I’m in communication with that seller. Tempted.

I’m in the market for one of these and I’d buy this one for $25k. After taxes, rod bearings, shipping, new rear tires, and rock chip correction I’d be into the car for over $30k right away. That’s how I’m looking at it as a buyer.

That's fair, but you can't expect him to take a hit on his price for things you WANT to do to the car. Sure, rod bearings are a topic and an issue that one SHOULD do, but it's not a requirement. Rock chip correction, again not a requirement. Set of rear tires is $600ish. Taxes aren't his fault either. Not saying your offer is terrible but you're expecting a seller to take a hit for things you want.

OP, ultimately your decision on price. I think upper $20s if a fair premium. $28k is what I'd be sticking with if I were selling.

Understood completely and very good points, but you have to look at it from the perspective of a buyer who is looking for a 2011 e90 ZCP car. There are several for sale right now on this board and like I said one has rod bearings done, the seller is a BMW certified master mechanic, 102k miles, no accidents, etc, and he's asking $26,900.

Also in the SF Bay Area on Craigslist there are 4 for sale right now believe it or not. Two have 80k (ish) miles, one is a one owner jerez black car for $28k and the other has 69k miles for $32k.

If you look at it from a supply and demand perspective right now, Mid 20's is more than fair for this car with 116k miles on it with the needs we highlighted. At least that's what the market is telling me at this moment in time. Also, I think you personally have some skin in the game here because you too have an e90 ZCP that you were considering selling. The more these sellers get for their car, the more you stand to get for your car in the future if you sell, so I'm not 100% certain you are looking at this rationally without any bias. Your perception of what price should be vs what the market is telling us might be a tad bit skewed due to bias (And yes I'm interested in your car too if you ever decide to sell, for a fair price).

Hahahaha maybe you should buy one of the other cars then? Not trying to sound like a dick but if you're buying off price and value, those are the cars for you. Lots of great examples out there. That grey one especially is one hell of a buy. I think his price point is low given his maintenance and mod list. But, it's not my car or money.

I have no bias in what this car sells for cause my car isn't for sale and no plans to. His cars selling point has little affect on mine. After I pulled it off the market I had an offer with deposit for $38k. And I wouldn't sell it right now if someone offered me $40k for it. There's not another car in todays market that I like enough to sell it. The market doesn't always dictate what EVERY E90 is going to sell for. There's an ass for every seat. I'm the type of guy that'll pay premium for exclusivity. My opinion on a cars value is solely based on what my desires are, which are different than yours. I don't hold my car to the same standard as ANY E90 on the market. I don't care if there's a white or grey E90 with the same miles selling for less. It's just the way I am. I can't speak for this guy but if we are talking about my car given the amount of maintenance and cleanliness, you'd be hard pressed to find one matching it car for car. That's worth more than market to me. And I'm sure someone out there would agree if that ever arose.
