What to offer on new Frozen Silver Competition Edition
looking for my perfect M3 out there. and this is one of 4 M3s on the entire eastern seaboard with the features I'm looking for.
Long story short. I don't want to pay MSRP. I' willing to pay a hair over invoice. I know that I could order one from a sponsor. but that would require me waiting for a production slot/delivery So does anyone know of a dealer who sold the special edition frozen silver below MSRP? Or did you or some one you know get one below MSRP? And if you don't know what would you offer? here is the listing http://www.hiltonheadbmw.com/new/BMW...0e6ce69645.htm by my research I put the invoice of this car at 75400-ish Last edited by dadealus; 03-23-2012 at 03:33 AM.. |

^^^I remember GOLFRR stating in a different thread that they would not reduce the price of the frozen silver below MSRP. However, that was well over a month ago so perhaps they have dropped the price below MSRP? I still doubt you'd get it for a price even close to invoice because of the limited number of the frozen silver M3s.
Good luck with your purchase! |

That car does not have the enhanced premium audio. As dumb as it may sound, that is the reason I did not buy the one that my dealer had when it came it. I should have bought it though.

Good luck with your search. I would say that you should be able to get a decent deal out there on one of them if you search around. The reason being is that we as dealers have to pay a flooring fee everyday a car sits on the lot. The Frozen Silvers were delivered a while back so Im sure that dealers want to sell them asap. Good luck with your search and if you are not lucky as you stated you can always order a frozen silver through Ryan and Indiv which would prob end up saving you some cash just would have to wait 6-8 weeks.

IMO, I would be happy to pay MSRP for this car. (not that I would, as I don't value frozen paint enough to pay up for it). This is a limited edition car that's reasonably highly coveted. I'll be surprised if the dealer let it go under MSRP, especially down in that area.
IF this was some standard issue E92 M3, I would def negoitate this under MSRP. |

Don't let the lack of enhanced premium audio stop you from getting this car. It's not worth the extra money IMO and the hi-fi system is a better platform to upgrade from if you decide to do so.
I agree with everyone that if you are looking to purchase a special edition car, you gotta pay to play. |

I honestly think the biggest difference is that the speaker grills look better (silver) with the enhanced audio. If I had to do it again, I would go with the standard audio, plus if you want to upgrade it later, it is easier. I listened to both before I ordered and the difference really isn't worth the premium after living with it for 3yrs.

That thing has been sitting there a long time, but it is still a rare, limited edition car. I would personally offer $500 over invoice, and not go higher than 1k. |

It's a matter of expectations. I just don't expect that much from a car system, and I expect a lot from a home system. You'll be happy with the M3 with whatever sound system. They all come with the sweet sounding V8. |
