The other question I don't see any one asking is why do you need to drive another M if you already have one that's miled out? Obviously you should be familiar with the car, right? Something doesn't add up hear. Maybe you look 18 because you are and it's daddy's car?
No one is asking that question because I never said I wanted to get another M. Did you even read the thread?

I don't see an M3 in this list or even another M...

Audi S5
BMW 335is (Couldn't drive because dealer didn't have it)
BMW X6 (Got a test drive from the salesman that sold me my M3)
Cadillac CTS-V
Chevy Camaro (Got a test drive from really nice salesperson)
Ford Mustang GT500
Mercedes C63 Coupe
Nissan GT-R
Lexus ISF
Porsche 997 C2S
Porsche Cayman S
PRIUS.
Range Rover Supercharged

You're just like the salespeople I've dealt with. Assuming that just because I'm young, the M3 is my dad's car and I can't buy a car at all. I got my current M3 when I was 18 and finance/paid for it with my own money.

I look really young also. Here I am picking up my M3. Fortunately I brought my mom with me and she is really hot so the sales guys were all over us

Get over it. Its not a big deal if they wont let you drive the car, just go to another dealership and buy it. Salesmen shouldn't reap the benefits of commission if they're nonchalant with customer services.

Similar situation happened, my buddy and I walked in and was greeted by an old salesmen was incompetent and oblivious. My buddy then walked over to the next salesmen and had his credit report checked, and walked out with a 2011 m3 zcp after trading in his POS sl55. Don't judge a book by its cover.

Why take a credit hit just to "test drive" a car that you might not even buy?

Just yell at the sales person "DO YOU NOT KNOW WHO I AM?" And say something like Bill Gates illegitimate child.

I had this exact problem when shopping for my m3 (the first dealer even dared say "why don't you consider a 335?" my response: "why don't you let me have the m3 for the price of a 335?" It wasn't until my mom came with me to another dealer (socal dealers really arent that courteous, funny how the only SoCal dealer I saw on the list top honors was coincidentally where I got my M- Monrovia BMW) that they let me (despite having proof of pay stubs, bank statements, credit card trade links at the BMW dealer)

In the end, even dressing up didn't help me. What I simply said was "that's fine, you don't want my business. Have a nice day" and walked out
