I have PFC and AP Racing brake kits so not starting a new project with f8x blue calipers that can’t handle the lower weight and higher speed of the f8x. I’ve been tracking my f82 since 2016 and had brown calipers after one weekend. I haven’t had a single issue with AP Racing brakes. I’ve been tracking my e92 M3s since 2009 and 2012 with PFC brakes.

Isn’t the f8x CCB also considered a f8x retrofit?
Good for you.

Thanks! It should not be confusing at all. You asked if I was creating a new science project and that I should start a new thread so I explained why I’m not creating a new science project and, if I was, why I would not use the f8x blue brake setup and rotors. If your calipers are still blue, or even green, you can brake later. If they are brown you should find the f8x blue setup limiting. I actually found them to be limiting when green with PFC 11 or Cobalt r1/xr2 pad compounds but Essex hadn’t released their Pro5000R brake kits yet. It’s a thread about f8x retrofit brakes onto an e92 M3 yet f8x CCB caliper and rotor retrofit kits are not considered a f8x brake retrofit kits. Talk about confusing.

I responded to one post that had absolutely nothing to do with you yet you responded to my post. All I did was ask about the g8x front caliper design features/dimensions to understand whether f8x existing CCB caliper adapters and modified/new 5x112 to 5x120 hats for superior 2-piece rotors may already exist as well.

So before I get in trouble with the moderator again, is it allowed to answer questions related to f8x CCB/f87 2NH caliper and/or g8x six piston front caliper retrofit options for the e9x M3?

You asked a question, I answered it and provided some context.

I really don't care about your opinion on anything else, but thanks for sharing it.
