FS: AutoTecknic CF DCT Paddles w/ paddle mechanism

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Item Interest
I have a pair of mint AutoTecknic carbon fiber DCT paddles with the paddle mechanism. This came off of my steering wheel which was replaced with the Madtrace magnetic shifter paddles. They are in excellent near new condition without any blemishes. One thing I will point out is the PLUS sign seems to be slightly off center but that might be just my eyes playing tricks. There are no dings, scratches, chips, plus/minus signs fading, etc. With the paddle mechanism in place, the install should be pretty straightforward plug & play. Just need to disconnect the positive side of battery, release the airbag, and remove the existing paddle mechanism without having to remove the steering wheel. New price: $120 firm; shipping included.

Please LMK if you'd like additional pics or have any other questions. Thanks.

It was pretty quick and easy. Didn't even have to remove the steering wheel. Not sure if there are different kits for E9Xs but maybe you're referring to which paddle I went with? I decided to try the aluminum ones. I painted the +/- signs using enamel paint and coated with a glossy nail polish.

I have my madtrace shifters ready to install. When the wheel is in the center position, are the + and - symbols angled? That’s how it looks in your steering wheel photo. If so, thats going to bug me!

Yes, they are angled. Never noticed it until you pointed it out. Ha! They way paddles round up, they don't look that bad IMO

Hi, I got the PM but it’s not letting me send a private message in response. Could include your phone number in another PM and I can call/text you to proceed with purchasing it? Thanks!
