Paint Problems

Hey guys, so today since it was finally sunny and kind of warm I decided to wash my car. I have a MW M3 and I honestly find it a bitch to clean.. While I was cleaning I came across some black spots. I couldn't get them off and if I tried they'd just smudge and make things look even worse :/ any advice?

Use a little wax and grease remover on a microfiber towel and wipe them off. It's probably tar and that is easy way to remove. Bug and tar remover works too, basically same stuff. Get it at any auto parts store.

Start with a bug/tar remover. If that doesn't work, try something like a clay bar or mild abrasive (swirl mark remover, ScratchX, etc).

I've seen that stuff before too. Where does it come from? I got it off of my rims using Kroil penetrating oil. It seemed to work great, but is stuff like this bad for paint?

If you haven't done so recently I would suggest using a clay bar. You gain the added benefit of removing other unseen dirt and waste.
