Hey guys I have searched a little and I think I took the right steps to wash my car. 2 buckets so I don't keep getting the car dirty. My question is why does my car still get crazy water marks? I know this question is asked daily but I'm pretty sure I took the right precautions. Is it because I'm not drying it fast enough with this heat in Miami?
2nd I also waxed it after and It came out like crap crazy swirl marks. 1st time this has happened are those hand pads I bought the reason? Do I really need a heavy duty buffer. When I can afford Scheer I will but in the mean time. I also enjoy doing this is therapy for me I just suck at it Anything helps |

Are you washing your car under direct sunlight? If so, the water is probably leaving mineral deposits cause its drying up on the car. As for the swirl marks, odds are you need to apply some polish before you wax. Even on new cars this is pretty common.
Some pics will probably help us diagnose where you're going wrong. |
