New M3 owner! Happy to finally be here
Hey guys,
just picked up my first M3, a 2010 with 19 000 km on it! Alpine White on Fox Red Extended...DCT, EDC, CF roof. Absolutely cherry, still smells new! SO HAPPY WITH IT! Super-fast, super-loud, and super-bad on gas...but who cares??? I love the looks of the E92, the noise of the rev-matched downshifts, and the little touches like the pop-out door pockets and the robot seatbelt arms! Since this will be my daily driver for a while, I am not going overboard with it yet... right now I am not a good enough driver to exploit all the car has to offer. This forum gives me great information on what people are doing and what works. I do have full plans in place for the future... but for now, before chasing the horsepower fairy, I'm going to start with some convenience features through BPM coding, some CF trim bits and M-Stripes for looks, and a radar/laser detector (or she'll cost me even more money) I'm naming her Sabine by the way. After Sabine Schmitz, the only woman to ever win the 24 Hours of the Nurburgring. Twice. In a V8-powered M3 no less! I'd like to get her autograph mounted on a dash plaque someday... Anyways, I'm happy to finally be an Mer, to finally be here (again...after my 335i...I've technically been on this forum for 3.5 years, but never used it!) and own one of these amazing cars! Any other Victoria, BC Mers out there, come to the 7th Annual Vancouver Island Poker Run! Enjoy the summer weather and dry roads!

Lol I was looking for Frozen Gray on Tan/Brown...found ONE in Canada and it sold in 8 h. The Fox Red actually looks better in real life, not bright orange but reddish-brown. It will eventually be wrapped matte gray, but first M-Stripes
