After I got stage 2 tune, my car keeps rev bouncing when in idle/cold. It doesn't do it when the car is in operating temp. Has anyone experienced this? When car is returned to stock file it doesn't do that.

I have a doubt, if I have installed a tune for 98oct and put 100-102oct gas in it should I have problems?

I had this issue when I had this stage 2 tune the entire time leading up to summer 2022. Got a different vendor tune and issue is gone

Maybe get alex to turn off cold start if you're catless? For the record, I had limp mode issues with Alex's tune and flashed to stock and it went away. Switched to Epic and car runs perfect

Recently requested advice on Stage II catless tune concern, with my mods. He responded to my email same day along with additional Q&A exchanges. Bottom line - received an updated tune requested in <48 hrs including weekend. Outcome - Perfection...performance is best ever! I'm a RESULTS oriented guy...very pleased!

It’s been a few years since loading the stage one tune. Going catless and will be loading stage two. I had ecu and DCT tunes done but can’t remember which cable was for ecu. Is it the black cable for ecu or the blinky light cable for DCT?
Thanks |

Any necessary engine component upgrades to support a stage 1 tune? Pulleys?

Stage one isn’t much. It updates to last engine calibration and gives it a bit better throttle response. They say it adds some hp but it was nothing very noticeable. I would recommend the DCT tune. It makes it less clunky at low speeds and speeds up the shifts. It was much more noticeable than ecu tune.

Chiming in to say that I've loaded a Stage 2 tune on 91 Octane.
Car is 6mt, has test pipes, and axleback. Installation instructions are sufficient (read the .txt file along with the video). It probably won't be going on a dyno anytime soon, but the car seems to have picked up a moderate amount of torque in the low to midrange. |
