For What it’s Worth

Driving north on the Garden State through Clifton this morning two cars were pulled over in the breakdown lane. The car in back is a blacked out Infinity G series its rear hazards on. As I passed the car in front is a F series BMW and there’s a Jersey State trooper writing out a ticket!

Are you saying that the officer was driving the Infiniti? Did it have police lights?

Yes. Guess I should have been clearer. Lights on top of dash behind the windshield and in grill.

Didn’t know that was legal to do.

I do know EMTs have lights on their dash and in the grill. Not officers

Years ago the Connecticut state police were using a seized Corvette to patrol with. Lights on the dash. Anyway, yesterday on the Cross Island heading towards the Throgs Neck, a blacked out HONDA ODESSY (sp?) with flashing red and blue lights on the dash pulled up tight behind a car in the left lane. EMT? AAA? Cop?

Most of them aren't capable of writing tickets for traffic infractions. I've been "pulled over" by DT's or undercovers because I "cut them off". You just gotta listen to their power trip and not do anything to get shot and you'll be alright.
