BMW performance seat p/n confusion?

So story short, a contact I have over in Munich offered to help me out and buy a BMW performance seat for me since I cant order them here stateside apparently. But theres a few different part numbers... Hopefully someone can chime in and clarify this for me

Theres one part number (52 10 0 445 043) with the description "Sports seat for Shopsystem". Its listed as "$904.34" and it weighs 51.809 lbs.

The other part number I have my eye on (and was originally gonna get) is "52 10 0 442 129" which is the part number for a non-power driver side seat. Its listed as "$1845.54" and weighs 54.013 lbs.

Whats the difference between the two? Someone suggested that the shopsystem seat might be a regular Recaro Speedster CS without the BMW upholstery, but that doesn't really make sense to me since that'd make the upholstery material more than half the cost of the seat?

Lol, the one that cost more is probably the right one

HOWEVER BMW performance seats are suppose to be lighter than the stock seats and have built in airbags, this is what makes them different.. So for that weight being almost the same I'd say continue your research.

Haha, the stock seats are fine. The performance seats are actually for an E30 M3 that I'm gonna get in the near future. Gonna use it as a track car and the original owner swapped out the stock M3 seats for regular 325i non sport seats for some reason... Seeing that the price of the performance seats are almost the same as the regular Speedster CS, thought it might be nice to toss a few extra coins in for that extra OEM flare and feel lol.
