Extended Maintenance/Warranty

I have a 2008 E90 with DCT that I bought about 1 year ago. In that year I have put on about 30,000 miles. The car now has 42,000 miles on it and I need to decide whether or not I should extend the maintenance and the warranty. I will hit 100,000 about 2 years from now and have no interest in driving another car (a beater). Driving other cars sucks after spending so much time behind the wheel of an M3.

My questions are:
1) Does anyone know what maintenance I will receive from BMW from 50,000 to 100,000 miles and the value of this maintenance. Right now, according to iDrive it looks like I won't get brakes (front and rear) until a couple of thousand miles after I hit 50,000. My SA also told me that when they do the brakes they replace the rotors and pads, is this true? The quote I have for extended maintenance is $3,295, I hope to do a comparison to see if it is worth it. I don't have time to do any of the maintenance myself.

2) I have read a bunch of threads on the extended warranty and it seems like the general consensus is that they are not worth it. That being said what are your thoughts on just extending the powertrain to 100,000 miles. I was quoted $2,840 for this option and with questions about the longevity of DCT and cost of repairs for DCT is this good idea?

Well, I've just had my entire engine replaced under extended warranty in my 2007 e90 M3 (I'm not in the USA before people start going on about there being no 2007s)

The crank bearings were buggered after 30,000kms. It is worth it because the crank and bearings were redesigned in the M3 engine after Nov 2008.
