DAMN.... You guys have it good in the States
it sickn's me to think that I could have bought a M3 with how much we pay for 335's up here. Oh well, I'm sure people in Europe + Asia (pretty much rest of the world) pay more than Canadians |

in all seriousness, did you really expect the base price for the coupe to be anywhere close to $50K. E90/92 M3's prices will have the opposite effect to many shoppers looking at RS4's and S5's, I think the very reasonable base price (especially the sedan) will put a dent Audi S5 sales. |

Glad to see I nailed the price from long ago (using the % increase model from E36 to E46).
The fact you can get the sedan for <$55K is making me VERY happy I did not pay $4600 for an LSD for my 335i. I think the M3 sedan will be in my garage instead

Great news.
BMW waited until just after Lexus announced the IS-F pricing and then totally went for the jugular! I am suprised how low the price is, I think $59k for the coupe and $57 for the sedan would have still out sold Lexus. My prediction from the begining was $58.5k then during a lull, and when all the mags were predicting so high I changed my tune and believed they could and would get over $60k. Then with the hints of Military pricing I moved back to <$60k again. Congrats to all those who voted $56-$58k in my poll long ago (can't recall if I voted for this or one notch higher at $58-60k)! JEllis: Time to ... on our bet. I want to see your car with the ricer stickers all over it, soon! |

I am in a polling mood....
Go over to: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=107254 and vote.... A good debate again for modded 335i vs. M3
