That is not how lemon laws work, and unless he can prove they outright lied to him about an existing problem, he's SOL. Buyer beware.

Thats not normal. You could do a coolant flush and check the head gasket.

Just thought I would give anyone interested an update on this.
Car ran fine, did not show any signs of coolant in the oil. No smoke or coolant smell from exhaust, no signs of a blown head gasket. Flushed the cooling system and drove the car. Now 10,000 miles later the car still runs fine and still no signs of head gasket problems. Coolant res has a tiny bit of oil residue on cap but coolant otherwise looks fine. |
