Who owns the unicorns here?

Who owns the real unicorns here?

Just curious if anyone here has one of these rarest of the mythical beasts? The 2008-2011 6MT E90 Sedan with no sunroof, manual seats, no iDrive/Nav and no ZCP? Probably less of these than lime rock, frozen or
Jahres.

To some, a "true" stripper would be as basic as possible.

I'd guess an e90 6mt w/ zero options would be relatively rare. I love single hump dashes, speed cloth and manual seats!

In Canada we have fewer choices … especially as it relates to ///M cars as most come loaded …

Regardless, I did have a 2008 E90 M3 with 6spd, no nav, and it was Red in colour. When i bought it, the dealership rejoiced as i had just purchased the ultimate "track car", especially with EDC!

However, when it came time to move on, the same dealership said there is no market for a red M3 with a 6spd gear box, and no nav … careful what you wish for!

A true stripper would lose the two extra doors too.

That old argument?
Sedan is shorter, is more rigid, and has lower driver position. E92 is only 22 lbs lighter, carbon roof and all. Maybe if they didn't stretch the E92 for pure aesthetics...

Yes, in 2011 I visited M Design in Garching Germany and met with director of M in Germany and he told me that Sedan handled better than coupe.

I also think the Sedan is better looking and rarer than the coupe. Still my respects would go out to anyone that spec's a no option coupe for sure! Just sedan is rarer.
