*nj shop that works on e92 m3*
Hey everyone! I'm looking to get my oil pain (the hex plug stripped and only spins) changed, rod bearings, valve cover gaskets, diff fluid change, and transmission fluid changed.
If anyone knows a reputable shop in NJ that won't cost my soul, I'd really appreciate it! Thank you.

For the NJ/NY/CT area, Autocouture is the place to go; they're just outside of NYC. I'm sure someone from there will chime in soon. They do rod bearings and all kinds of services. Best of luck!

Check out Superior Auto ( pm me for number ill refer you) in Jersey if not go with Amraz. Working on these cars isn't rocket science and AC charges Ferrari dealer prices and they're annoying about bringing your own material. They will complain about things like oil which is laughable.

Back in the day, I had my 1981 320i serviced at Rennsport Motor Works in Hackensack. He has been working on these vehicles specifically for over 35 years.

$4800 for what? Parts and labor? Including a new $1200 oil pan, all gaskets, fluids, filters, BE bearings and BE ARP hardware, bolts etc.? Let's compare apples to apples please. And very few reputable shops will allow you to supply your own parts. This is even more the case for parts that can cause a $10K (minimum) engine to grenade if they are wrong or damaged in some way.

You might want to give Vicari Motors a call. The owner gave my E93 a free once over when the Service Due light came on (due to the Inspection Date setting - D'oh), and they get good reviews.
http://www.vicarimotorsllc.com/ They only work on BMW's, and look to be cheaper than the stealerships, but how cheap I do not know.

Don't replace the pan, just fix it. Especially since it will be off to replace bearings.
That will save a ton of money.

Rui (owner)at Azevedo Motorsports did an AMAZING top notch job on my e92 m3. Promptly delivered. Fixed oil pan/valve cover gaskets/ bearings were already replaced so I just shipped them back to Fcp.
