Hi dpc2u,sheer genius lloyd,jacked the car,disassembled the plate and there it was corroded green and broken through all the way,thank you for reading and helping,my local dealer didnt have it in stock but it’s ordered and i will be able to enjoy the race regardless thanks again from a new member with his first real problem solved!!i’ll take a pic and post in a few thanks again!!!

You don't need the OEM BMW one, you could have just gotten one from a autoparts store

Or just make one out of 4 gauge and soldered or crimped lugs. I made one for my car and also added a second ground cable in the engine bay.
