Are these OEM exhaust tips on my e92 m3?

I was getting some routine maintenance done on my e92 m3 coupe when the shop pointed out that my exhaust tips are from a non-m3 e9x. Said they were shorter than the oem m3 tips. However, isn't the m3 the only one with quad exhaust? I didn't think to ask this at the time, so what do ya'll think? OEM or nah?

I have not modified them at all since I bought the car from a reputable local 3rd party dealer in Nov 2016.

It's looks like you have the exhaust from a M3 sedan. The sedan (E90) tips are about 1.5 inches shorter than the coupe. I'd guess that the previous owner had an aftermarket exhaust and sold/exchanged it with a M3 sedan owner before trading the car in.

They look oem, but they used the shorter e90 exhaust.

This sounds about right. Darn. Gonna hit up the dealer I bought it from to see if they can at least partially compensate a replacement. Thanks!

You could always get the e92 tips, drill out the rivets, and rivet on the new tips. It's not difficult.

Agreed. Sedan exhaust. Also looks like the rear bumper might have been resprayed at some point. There may have been a small fender bender that necessitated the replacement...

Can you drill out the tips, slide them out, and red river them?

Sedan exhaust on a coupe, I've seen this happen plenty of times with cars here in Toronto.
This is what happens when people modded their car and part-out right before they sell it in a rush and find any kind of E9x muffler they can get for cheap.
