BMW CCA at Hallett - November 8-10

Who's in?! I'll be running on Friday and instructing over the weekend.

Does anyone coming from Dallas have room for two unmounted tires? ...or even one?

As far as extra space goes real-estate in my car is gonna be packed full, so not sure I can help out there. But I'll ask around the club... you're not on Facebook are you? I could ask in the local CCA member page.
I'm planning on going up on Thursday night most likely.

Yeah - I'll have 4 wheels in the back seat, but I'd like to bring 2 more as I know I will cord one or more by Saturday. I think I can get one in the passenger seat, but not two. I'll ask Doug if he has room. I assume he'll be trailering his car.

You're gonna love Hallett. I'm in Tulsa now for the WRL race this weekend. We'll be running both directions. Hope we do that for the BMW event as well. See you in a few weeks.

It whooped my azz! I've never had so much trouble in one corner. I was apparently the only one that weekend too!

You spun at totally different places, too. Did you come off the brake too abruptly in the first spin? Tires okay? Weird since that corner has decent camber.

This will be the first time that I'll run my car at Hallett so I'll post some video. Last weekend was the third time that I've raced there in a Boxter. WRL usually runs both directions which is awesome. Lots of cars into the tire wall at turn one going clockwise. This is the Texas Track Works Boxter going off after a Miata engine let go and oiled the brake zone. Somehow, they were able to continue the race after that.

I thought I had it covered, but Doug injured his hand and won't be making the trip. Do you know anyone that can take one unmounted tire? Thanks!
