I also want one, but dont want to pay the $600 price tag... i think if it was more like $400 for the kit, i would buy one.

Yes, if you take DIY detailing seriously, its an awesome tool. Theres really nothing like it.

A good cheaper solution is to get a drill attachment backing plate with 1.5 or 2" pads on a right angle drill.
Works great.
