255/35/19 and 275/35/19 MP4S on ZCP?
Hello,
Found major damage on my front right 245/35/19 Hankook Ventus Evo v12 tires so I want to change my entire setup to higher quality Michelin Pilot Sport 4S all around. Right now I'm running 245 up front and 265 rear hankook on my ZCP rims. Would you guys advise moving up 10mm all around? 90% street 10% track. Current setup uses spacers not sure the size bought the car like that. Thoughts? Thanks |

Fits just fine, probably what 75% of people on this website are running, lol.

The PS4S are quite round/ugly if you ask me but the grip is what matters hey... |

Not really. Ride quality might be a tad softer, and the steering response might be a little bit more mushy since there's more sidewall to flex. For a DD, I don't think you'll notice.

255/275 PS4S is a very popular setup. 90% of the users seem happy with it and re-up/recommend the setup. But a few people have gone back to 245/265. The smaller sizes should feel slightly more nimble, and maybe a more accessible grip limit makes them more fun on the street. But it's hard to get feedback comparing the same tires, with similar tread left, in different sizes. Comparing 255/275 PS4S to 245/265 worn out anything else doesn't do much good for us.
Can any of you post photos of 255/275 PS4S, 359M, E90, no spacers? Wondering how much the tire helps with the offset or if spacers still look "needed." |

I've been running PSS 255/35 and 275/35 on my ZCPs since I got the car. I don't know anything else on this car. I'm happy with the setup and road feel but I'm due for new tires and I'm wondering if it's worth trying out going back to stock specs 245/265? Price difference seems negligible.
I've seen some older threads discuss but figured I'd ask here since this is most recent. |

Just placed my order for PS4S 255/35/R19 and 275/35/19 from Tire Rack. Total was $1,163.96. Called the dealership and they said its about $150 to unmount/balance/mount for all 4.
Can't wait! I bought the car in September 2015 and it had some worn Pirelli Pzeros with 265 rear, 245 front. I haven't measured the tread lately, but the rears look absolutely bald.

Update: So I've had the tires on for the past couple weeks and for sure I feel an improvement over the Hankook V12 Evo2. There has been a ton of rain in south florida and with a baby shower just finishing haven't had much time to drive hard. Car feels great on the road and very planted in the highway twisty on/off ramps I use to test my car. Traction is good even in the rain. Definitely recommend!

Nice assessment OP. Glad you like 'em!

FYI - for those interested and in CA, I found that American Tire Depot has by far the best price on tires and offered to match anything lower. The prices they quoted me were less than Tire Rack or Costco. I believe it was about $25/tire to mount and balance |

Reviving and old thread because I didn't find much when searching - what pressures are most liking on the 255/35 and 275/35 combo riding on 359 / ZCP wheels?

Running MP4S 255/35 & 275/35 on 359s. What pressures do you guys recommend? I've been running 33 PSI all the way around. Obviously, I can't check the door sill for proper OEM specs. |

Piggy backing another question to this thread. I'm also thinking of going 255/275 as well for my ZCP's. I have the usual 15mm front, 12mm rear spacer config. Will I need to reduce these?

That's my setup. Lots of people run them with +1 size tires. Minimal rubbing. Not an issue. I'm stock ZCP height

For the front, I currently have 245/35F MPSS + 15MM Spacer but am swapping out for 255/35F MP4S this week. I don't think rubbing should be an issue but potential for some at full lock. We'll see.
