M3 Owners Monthly Payment.

Hey guys, I'm in the market for a BMW right now. I'm torn between an E92 335i or an E92 M3. This car will be a track car as well being that is still one my biggest passions today.

The 335 stock is no track car, where as the M3 is.
I wanna do this right the first time, I can't afford a wrong purchase right now or a purchase I wouldn't be satisfied with.

I know the numbers for the 335, and I just wanted to know what you M3 owners pay as far as monthly payments goes. If you could please just tell me what you put down and how much you financed, and what your monthly payment actually came out to be. Thank You!

The best thing to do is price the car out with taxes, etc. the way you want it equipped, determine how much you are putting down, determine your preferred bank's interest rate and your desired loan term, and then use an online claculator to crunch the numbers--they're all over the place on the internet, and it will save you the guesswork based on a bunch of widely different answers you may get from everyone here. Between a roughly similarly equipped 335 and M3 with the same down payment, and assuming a 5-yr note, you will probably see about a $300-$400 difference in the monthly note ($100/month for every $5K financed - a little bit of an over-estimate with today's low rates, especially if you are looking at an '08 with BMW's financing incentives).

Just purchased Today.

Sticker:$65,500
Negotiated: $61,500 + tax
0.9% financing / 60 months
34% balloon payment after 60 months

$2,500 down
Monthly Payment including Tax: $737
Balloon Payment: ~$21,000

Although I could of put more down, why should I.

I never thought I can get an M3 at 0.9% financing with such a low monthly payment.

Good luck

Since you list track driving as a primary requirement then the M3 is the way to go, regardless of the extra $$$.... The M3 is designed by BMW for the track....

With that said there is some pretty good deals out there right now....I saw a 6MT at my local dealer with $5k down for $899 a month on a lease.....

Depends if you plan on paying off that balloon payment at the end of the term. If not, then it''s not such a great deal since you'll have to refinance that balloon payment.

e90
MSRP $68,478
Bought $63,500
OTD $69,010 (inc TTL)

Down: $7k
Loan: $62K
Rate 4.5%
Payment 59mo $837
Balloon $23,400

Typical M3 wholesale value after 5 years is greater than the Balloon so I should be in the green for a trade in or private sale. Kind of like a lease but I own it. Why not keep the extra $200-300 a month savings vs traditional finance and use it for hookers and blow...lol

Man, really appreciate most of the responses! You guys are quick!

Man, the montly is high, but it just seems to make so much more sense with getting the M for a track car. I'll probably end up spending around the same amount of money modding the 335 to compete with it.

Now, $737 a month is absolutely ridiculous for an M3, I would buy one tommorow if this was so. But the question is, what is a balloon payment? Sorry, I'm not familiar with this term so just wanna ask before I call dealers tommorow expecting this number.

Thank You guys so much!
