is this going to be ok to drive?
my dealer suggest me to get blizzak lm60, 235 35 19 front, 255 35 19 rear, and says that the fitment will be ok on my zcp wheel, but after they put on those tires, they send me a pic, and says "Please take a look at these photos’. I don’t begin to believe that this is safe in the event of any type of performance maneuver. I’m afraid you will need to install rims as well". i dont want to waste money to get other rims, and i look other thread about winter tires on their zcp wheel, the fitment was perfect, why not on mine? is that because my dealer do something wrong or the size of the tires are wrong?

I think those sizes would be ok for the OEM 19" wheels
Not the ZCP there is no way you can fit a 235 tire on a 9" rim I'd recommend getting a second set of wheels for winter Easier than mounting and remounting tires every change of season And I'd get narrower wheels Wide wheels in winter are not recommended Get 8.5 front and 9 or 9.5" rears

On TireRack's website it shows for the lm60 that a 235/35 can be mounted on a 8-9.5" wide rim and the 255/35 on a 8.5-10" wide rim. I'm surprised a 255 looks that stretched on a 10" wide rim. It almost looks like the 235 was installed on the 10" rim? I agree it doesn't look right and I would not drive my own car with tires mounted that way.
Why don't you send a PM to ben@tirerack with the pictures included and see what he has to say about the fitment/install, considering their website says both tires should fit on your rims. |

I run those sizes on Alufelgen 19" wheels. 8.5 and 9.5" wide. The 255 is already slightly stretches on the 9.5. $899 a set.

I have dealt with this a couple times before. Couple of things at work: The tire is on the narrow side for the ZCP wheel, but it is within manufacturer recommended specs. Some Bridgestones (RE960 was one, looks like LM60 is another) look more stretched on wider wheels. Snow tires run narrow compared to summer or all season tires.
So your dealer looked at the specs, saw that the wheels were within the allowed rim widths per manufacturer specs, and said it would be fine. All the factors mentioned above conspire to make it look crazy. It *should* drive safely assuming proper installation, but rim damage would be nearly inevitable. Most guys with ZCP wheels in winter go 255/35F 275/35R
