Touch-up advice for Anthracite colored wheels?
I bought a set of Anthracite-colored Apex EC-7 wheels, which have gotten a bit dinged up at the track. These are my street wheels, but I'm swapping them twice (off & back on) per visit to the track, and had a couple minor accidents, like wrench rash or one falling on its face when I was rolling it across some rocky ground.
Anyway, Apex doesn't provide any sort of touch-up paint, nor do they specify paint codes. They said I should just take the wheels to a wheel repair shop, which I will do. But, before then, I'm wondering if anyone has any adivce to share or experience to relate, regarding retouching Apex or other anthracite-colored wheels. BTW, since these wheels (hopefully) have a long service life ahead of them, I don't want to do a full repaint, at this point. The damage is generally very small (not like curb rash) and not very blatant. I'm just hoping to make it a bit less noticeable from 10' away or more.
