Aux option?
Hi guys, just purchased an 08 M3 picking it up Wednesday, so don't have the car on me, it has no idrive.
I'm currently confused, as I do know that the pre-11 cars didn't have bluetooth audio. But I'm curious as to the Aux cord to play music from my phone to the car. I'm looking at the option list, and it appears I have these options. S645A BMW US Radio S655A Satellite tuner S663A Radio BMW Professional S676A HiFi speaker system S694A Provisions for BMW 6 CD changer S6FLA USB/Audio interface The car in the center console has a 12v socket, a aux cord, and a usb cable. I've read that some people don't have the aux option on their radios, would mine have the option? Would I need the OEM Y cable, or can I use a regular aux cord? |

yea, a regular aux cord should work fine. Then just change the input to aux, but you will have to control songs from your phone.
