DEFIV Differential Brace

The DEFIV differential brace is a handmade structural support from the rear subframe to the differential. It drastically improves the mounting area from the differential to subframe by adding 2 new mounting points with solid billet aluminum bushings up front and replacement poly bushings in the rear making a total of 5 mounting points for the differential.

The DEFIV brace improves rigidity up to 50%, by decreasing the inflection of the differential, it allows the power to be delivered to the rear minimizing wheel hop. It creates a drastic reduction in the geometrical movement by dispersing the load from the 3 OEM rubber mounting points to the now 5 stiffer mounting points. The dispersion released into the 5 mounting points in addition to the structural support of the brace itself at each end of the frame locks in the differential for maximum performance.

After having it in our shop car for more than 5,000 miles both street and track, this is a tried and true product that improves the performance of the vehicle. With or without forced induction, this is a piece that makes a difference.

There are two different material options for the DEFIV brace. There is Chromoly and Titanium. The Titanium brace is significantly lighter, but equally more expensive.

Chromoly was $965 -- PRICE REDUCTION -- $825

Titanium $1865

Is this mod still useful/effective if you have solid subframe bushes?

I'm curious about this as well, especially the TI version. I attempted to email the company but it no longer seems to exist...

It is extra bracing, so no doubt better than just bushings alone. Wouldn't be as big of a difference with solid bushings back there compared to rubber, but more support never hurts.

Yeah these have gone by the way side over the years. Not sure what happened with him and making the units. Regardless, we are developing a brace as we speak so there will be options available again in the future

I'd be interested in a brace if I can get the performance of stiffer diff bushes without the associated diff whine.

These are still a work in progress. Among the world being slowed down due to Covid 19, we just have to wait for things to keep moving along.
