No market for brake ducting like this?
I'm surprised, given the E9x's lack of fresh air cooling, that a product like this doesn't exist, save for a few small runs people have commissioned (saw a set in CF that did not look cheap).
With the limited space in the wheel well and as E9x's get a little cheaper and people start to track them more, hopefully a company will try to make a prduct like this that is space efficient and in plastic, not insanely expensive... Pics is from an STI |

$95 bucks!!! Really wish a company would roll these out...seems lien they would absolutely have a strong market. Hell, guys need to replace their $100 hoses they crush often...I mean :/

Looks like it's 3D printed? I'd buy a set for that price.

It may look that way, but the company making these has been doing it long before 3D printers were available to the general public. I'm trying to get more details from a friend who is a Subaru guy. There are pics on this website of CF ducts similar to this design for someone's E92 race car, but I think they are custom and I'm sure they are crazy expensive.

The price is definitely right. I'm surprised I haven't seen something like this on more platforms.

I would buy a set and just attach hose at each end. I run Turner steering rack stops to keep from hitting the hose.

I was thinking same thing about trying to print a few. Heatwise, I think distance from rotor/hub is far enough where it's not an issue. The guy selling these as a business has been doing so for years, so must not be a problem if he keeps gaining customers.
And keep in mind the tubing itself is being force fed cooler air constantly. |

i'd like to see a product that feeds air into the center of the disk to force it through the cooling vanes.

Page 16 Requires hub removal to install and is set up for 70mm ducting. I can get pics this weekend at the track.

Any pics you can add would be great. Do you need a front splitter with this? I also noticed the rear real coilover in the catalog! |

No splitter necessary. Just the brake duct openings like Apex sells.
