Repair the undertrays???

I replaced mine once before choosing a permanent aluminum under tray replacement. If I wasn’t so mindful about it I might have tried a variation of one of the creative repairs found in this link below:

Just a teaser on my home built "forged" carbon fiber left side under tray thing. Its currently in a very rough stage and needs to be sanded, profiled, holes drilled and clear coated and final fitment. my plan is to have a complete write up on how I made the piece, hopefully by the end of the week. it will look amazing, i promise.
