its the slim kit by autohidguy
and i managed to fit the entire HID kit inside the headlight
both the ballast and ignitor fit inside the headlight, damn tight, but it fits
so nothing is visible from the outside. As i had previously modified my factory wiring to give the angel eyes the full 14v input. with the stock system they never get the full 14v, they get 10.75 or 3.3v
in your case you would just need to have power and ground
How bright are the ones from ebay? Which color temp did you choose? How easy was the install?

Thanks.

well i started with the 4300K bulsb to match the stock xenons
but they were a little too yellowy
so i switched to 6000K, which looks perfect to me
white with a hint of blue
6000k are not as bright as the 4300K, but since this is not my main beam i don't care so much about brightness
they do put out a lot of glare though
if you look at the OEM bulb , it has a painted top
the HID bulbs don't
so they put out a lot of reflections from the top tip
when i have time i might take out the bulbs and paint or cover the end tip so stop the glare

install was easy for me
as i had already modified my factory wiring to put out 14volts
if you are using the OEM wiring the relays that come with the HID kit won't turn on when your headlights are on

but for sure they look great
better than all the LED kits i have seen

I'm itching to get a set of these..

I wanted to ask some advice - I have a jerez black M3 (E92), what is going to be the best colour option to go with?

Any responses here would be great..and if Camaross305 could PM me to conclude the sale, that would be awesome!

It's moslty personal taste on color temp. I don't like too much bling so went with 5k. 6k is also available, I believe, as well as 8k. 8 starts getting a bit blue for my tastes, but maybe not yours. Lower (warmer) colors actually give more usable light.
