The best mod you can make for a daily driver

Put a cardboard box in the trunk to hold your groceries. It prevents everything from falling out and rolling around on the trip home. If the box is strong enough you can take all of your groceries inside the house with one trip.

So you're a Bud diesel kind of guy huh?

I've got a plastic container with bungee ropes tied to the 2 hooks.

Bungees are a must. If you don't need them, time to trade the car in and get a Buick!

Funny my father said the exact same thing about putting a box in the boot... probably is some merit in it!

Call your local dealer, I'm sure they'd love to sell you one. Or check one of the many BMW vendors on the board.

+1. The plastic box protects the floor of the trunk in case any of the groceries or beverages leak or have condensation.

my car came with the bmw cargo net, which works great.it stretches out from the back, and hooks to two fasteners behind the taillights.the previous owner told me he got it from the dealer and had it installed because he was sick of stuff rolling around.probably cost more than a cardboard box, though

here's one on getbmwparts-
