Do I need longer bolts?
Hi guys probably a commonly asked question but I'm really new to wheel offset and changing wheels and needing adaptors etc
Long story short I am changing my current setup from 220M wheels 245/35R19 front 265/35R19 rear . Wheels I bought have 34 et in front and 37et in the rear. I want to keep the standard 29/23 et with these new wheels. So technically speaking a 15mm spacer in the rear will change the et from 23 to 22 and a 5mm spacer in front will leave it unchanged at 29. Question is - surely there is no need to change the bolts? The exact size bolts I currently have will work ,right? Appreciate all inputs |

Yes you do, because the spacer is adding material to the wheel. Chart is from bimmerworld site. Bolt Spacer 32mm 5-8mm 35mm 8-10mm 37mm 10-12mm 39mm 12-15mm 42mm 15-18mm 45mm 18-20mm 47mm 20mm |
