INSTALLED!!

Hey folks thought i would share!!

I installed my skirts last night, I used the factory screws and BMWs's approved Betalink K2 2 part urethane adhesive. Tapped it in place and let sit over night. fitment turned out perfect. Super happy with the results!

Matt.

nice. I used adhesive too but not betalink. that stuff is permanent.

felt it didn't fit well with just screws.

Did you have a hard time using the oem screws? My whole driver side, the screws wouldn’t lock in and used zip ties

Installing my side skirts later tonight, other than the OEM screws and the 3M double sided tape, is there anything else i'll need to install these? I'm sure the install is pretty straightforward, any tips or suggestions anyone has on the install?

Thanks

Aeroplug did a great job keeping me updated through a couple setbacks, delivered very quickly once it was all sorted out. Check the quality and it was very well done. Gonna go get it clear bra'd along with a few other things and install it this weekend. Photo updates to come.

Finally got around to installing the skirts after i got it clear bra'd. Fitment is actually really good.. except i wasted 5 hours trying to make it work with oem fasteners and double sided tape, got pissed off and drilled 5 self tapping screws to each side and went to have a beer.

Any concerns of introducing potential rust to the body in the future?

We used double side tape and 8 x self taps per side on our car. Went to canyon a few times and it's holding up fine
