Why not? Does it cost allot of money to get a CARB number? I am sure added sales volume will more than make up the difference.
Being the only CARB approved SC unit will surely drive sales. |

just wait till 2013 if they make the new AB 2289 smog test OBII and sniffer, or OBII only.
http://legiscan.com/gaits/text/630476 as long as there is no visual you'll pass. although youre technically not smog "legal" |

We don't have inspections and the first smog is 6 years from new. So we have some time to play around with some of the newer cars before smog

Yes, I have one year left I think. But, the change to just the OBD II test would save the day. Then I can pass smog no problem!

G Power gave me the contact info at HP Motorsport after I sent them the following links. They said HP Motorsport would be the folks to try and get this done.
Seems like a pretty straight forward process as long as the kit burns clean enough. Looks like Vortech has been figuring out how to do this on lots of cars. http://www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/aftermkt/forms/forms.htm http://www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/aftermkt/forms/formc.pdf http://arb.ca.gov/msprog/aftermkt/de...o/D-213-27.pdf |
