Which dealer is asking $230 for an oil change?

I visited Carmax here to test drive a black E92 and had quite a positive experience. Unfortunately that car was jet black and interior cosmetics were not good, but the sales experience opened me up to the ease of shipping with them. A few days later bam this car is newly listed. I snatched it up in 24 hrs.

To see this car for sale with fox red or in 2011 sedan guise would be incredibly rare but I'm not gonna sit on my hands fooling myself that I could ever find one and get it here. I'm very happy to have this car on its way here!
Sorry to inform you that I reached out to Carmax and offered them $100 more and I'll be driving the car very soon!
In all seriousness, I hear you on the scarcity of finding a Garage Queen 2011 e90 ZCP...like you I looked for a year and found one in Texas...bought it literally sight unseen which was a first for me. Had it shipped to PDX and she never fails to put that same shyte eating grin on my face when I take her out!
Show it off when you get it!

Group 2 quoted me only 3.3 hrs labor for all of it. I'll gladly pay that rate and spend my time at work or doing something better. Wrenching on cars isn't really my thing. Parts costs are the same as what I could get online.

dammit I've been home sick with the flu for a week now and despite being miserable I have to do something so what do I do? Obsess over car shit and makes lists of add-ons/mods to do. I have three tiers of priorities with low priority costing less than $1000 with no performance improvements. Moderate priority $9000 and half of that is new summer tires and a winter wheel/tire set. Low priority is $10,500 and is mostly BBK.

So all in I have already created $20,558 in "things to do" to the car I don't even have yet and that cost is >50% of the purchase price of the car. sad state of affairs at the moment. lol I'm so tired of this flu.

The eagle has landed on this disgusting stormy weekend. The car is great! Everything checks out BUT they drilled the damn front plate when it hit the dealership. I didn't even think to tell them don't do that because why would they? Blah.

I wasn't too bent out of shape until I took the bracket off this morning and saw four holes. Well shit what am I supposed to do with that? Four bumper plugs or just run a front plate? No budget right now for euro bumper.

Congrats! I would just run the front plate. If you park around in Seattle you're at high risk of getting a ticket while parked!

I agree, get the original paint matched front plate holder if you don't already have it.

Congrats on taking delivery! Sorry to hear about the front bumper - that is actually one of my biggest pet peeves on these cars, a drilled front bumper.

My M3 came from Ohio where front plates aren't required so my bumper is hole-free, but my X5 came from CA and had a front plate mounted I removed the plate immediately and bought bumper plugs, but the plugs required me to drill even larger holes to install, and I just couldn't do it. So I just have 2 exposed holes...it actually doesn't bother me too much.

I haven't run front plates in years on any of my cars, no issues so far.

How about skipping the Euro bumper and having a shop fill those holes and the reflector holes, and respray? Thought that might end up being just as much as a Euro bumper?

Dude, your luck is terrible.

Burn the car, get a Tesla, and disappear into the suburban masses on the east side.

Other than the bumper holes and Pzero tires (knew they were on when I shipped the car) it's great. Loving having a V8 again.

2012 E92 M3, 36k miles
Silverstone on Black, carbon trim
DCT
ZCP
Premium pack
Heated seats

All OEM and looks to be pristine inside and out. Probably will take 3-4 weeks to get here but I'm super excited! I've been looking at M3s for over a year and been dreaming about getting back into one since 2015.

I feel that it was good experience. Don't expect them to know pretty much anything about the car or its history so it helps to know what you're doing. 30 day warranty is nice (I already found a couple things wrong) and the car should be ship shape according to their 150 point inspection or whatever. Basically they are trying to have CPO like cars. Warranty option is nice too. I went with 75k miles (current 35k on clock) with $150 deductible for $2200 but they have options up to 150k miles.

Sales service was good and they have their process down smooth. All in all I would buy from them again if they have the right car. Only thing I didn't like is they drilled the bumper.

Yeah as long as you don't mod the engine a lot and can show all maintenance records since purchase from them in the event of a claim, the warranty is great.

If I can find the right color combination I don't plan on making any mods. I test drove a e92 at BMW of Bellevue a couple of weeks ago that was 100% mod and it scared the crap out of me...exactly what I want! LOL! I've already have cement in my shoe so I don't need anything faster.

How’s their financing? I heard they give somewhat high rates? If you do your own oil changes and etc..does that consider a proof of service or you have to take it to the dealer and show the receipts?
