Clock spring

• Hi can any help I own a M3 E92 and brought a LED display steering wheel and apparently my clock spring has not got the extra pin in which to run the power supply for the LED display but was told the E90 clock spring has an extra pin as if for a heated steering wheel, is this true ???

which steering wheel did you buy? on the oem wheel wires run to the side upper connector of the clock spring which is the reason for the new clock spring that gets supplied with it.

I brought a custom made wheel from R A customs in Bradford which does not come come with a new clock spring, in there installation they say take the power supply from the air bag but feel that's a big NO NO if fever of setting it off,was told an e90 clock spring has an extra pin in it compared to the normal e92 clock spring which to provide power to the display don't know if this is true or not,
