Fuel rail line removal? Special Tool needed?

Hi Guys

Quick question. Does it require special tool to disconnect the fuel rail line? It looks like a quick release but some youtube indicates need for special tool.
Unfortunately, I found it to be leaking during my thermostat replacement battle and need to replace...

I did my injectors, no special tools needed that I can recall.. just a T25 or T30 (can't remember) for the bolts on the fuel rail.

On the shock tower there’s a safety locking clip you remove it then you push the rubber line toward the hardline then push the plastic retainer in towards the soft section then pull the line out with the retainer held in
