It's feels like the car is planted on the road better if that makes sense.

As far as the CF driveshaft it feels like you can access the power a little easier now. Basically it takes less effort to get up to speed and maintain that speed, which is nice at low speeds since with the DCT it's somewhat jumpy anyways. I think the MFactory CF drive shaft that I have on it removes around 15lbs of rotational mass.
I'm in the process of refreshing most things that spin in my M3, because nearly everything has either 100k miles or some sort of flaw (original flywheel, original guibo, original center driveshaft support, one slightly out-of-round wheel) and I wonder if the move to a 1-piece driveshaft would make long-term sense by eliminating one more failure point / vibration source in the center support for the factory 2-piece?

This could also backfire and the 1-piece design would mean any vibration from elsewhere in the drivetrain just has one fewer damper, haha.

This car is totally my toy, so I don't mind NVH in the sense of "it's loud and you feel bumps", but I would like to chase down anything that feels like an unbalanced rotating part, or a rotating part with unintended play.

I read a lot on the forums and heard from friends that it would add NVH..it appears from people who never owned one, or who had a low quality version of one. I haven't experienced any extra NVH from the drive shaft or the bushings.

Sold the E88's a little while ago and picked up a set of Diamond Silver RIA's from Slicer.

Cup 2's 265/295

10" et 25 w/10mm H&R spacer
11" et 37 w/12mm H&R spacer

Will be doing alignment this week and taking it lower just a tad. I like them so far, but I do miss the E88's. Maybe I'll pick up a set of race pocket E88's in black from Slicer eventually.

I have considered going to a black rim on my car, but to me the new wheels really stand out and combined with no tint on the windows your car really pops

Though as you can see, I may be biased too ...

Slicer is amazing he secured me my set at the end of June and they transformed the car. Looks phenomenal, what center caps are you going with?

Looks fantastic! Also should take 1/3 of the time to clean as E88s do. Man those wheels suck to clean.

Thanks, I'm not going to use center caps, I think they look cleaner with just the red/white BBS stickers and open centers.

Haha that's what I'm hoping for. Trying to get dust out of between the face and lip of the E88's was a nightmare. Especially if you have polished lips where the scratches will show even more if you really put some elbow grease into it.

Wow man, honestly the silver wheels suit the car so much better imo!

Have you considered silver or any other colours for the next set of E88's?

Absolutely amazing, perfect spec with the RIAs. Silver E88s would look incredible also , but I'm digging the RIAs.

What side skirts are you running?

Definitely going to need better brakes after having to leave early from Saturday's BW session despite using Cobalt XR2 pads on front and rear. Kind of ironic considering all the other crap that's been done to the car, I ignore one of the most important parts.

Thanks, they are the Pom Performance side skirts. They are currently off the car (and will most likely stay off).

Car looks real good.

Somewhere I saw what looked like a really really good deal on Stoptech trophy front and rear.....need to see if I can dig that up.

Thx. I'm going to get AP's. They won't fit with my current E88's so I have another set on order
