Detailer's Domain: E46 M3 Paint Correction
This car came from a customer on one of the BMW forums we sponsor. She was great extremely friendly and a hardcore car enthusiast!
She actually stayed pretty much thru 90% of the paint correction process. The car was pretty beat up unfortunately it is parked outside and was not taken care of by the previous owner. The customer wanted to make it perfect so we gave it some love.....take a look. Products Used: Exterior: Adam's All Purpose Cleaner in the Cam Spray Foam Canon Swissvax Paint Rubber and Optimum Instant Detail Spray and Gloss Enhancer for clay lube Menzerna Super Intensive with the Uber Green Pad and Uber Yellow Pad Menzerna PO85RD with the Uber Blue Pad Menzerna Top Inspection Collinite Insulator Wax Swissvax Divine Einszett Spray Wax Wheels and Tires Uber Wheel/Tire/Wheel Well Kit Tools: Infratech 5300 Brinkmann MaxFire Metabo PE12-175 Flex 3403 Makita 9227 Hi Speed Rotary The Uber Foam Pads (5.5inch) Tons of "Uber" Microfiber Towels Uber Drying Towels Cam Spray 1500A with Cam Spray Foam Gun Before shots: Etching, Swirls, Bug and Tar, Buffer Splatter, etc           Plates were removed  Presoaking wheels  Washing the M   Removal of the tar and caked on road grime (3M Adhesive Remover)  Claying the car  Polishing SIP  Polishing PO85RD  After shot of the work  Sun shots after polishing, before rinsing off the dust      Dust accumulation  Rinse  installing the rear plate  Black Wow Applied to bring back the dull trim Before  After  Close up   After shots -- Collinite and Divine            Enjoy! |
