I just got a KW HAS kit installed and it looks as if the rear is now taller!?!

Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

I second SFC, did you specify the height setting you wanted on them when you requested them to be installed. The ring may just need spun down to the height you want. Once it’s set get your alignment and it should be good. If it’s not making a clunking or grinding noice I would assume that it is installed right just need lowered.

Got it sorted.

They put the adjuster on the bottom instead of top

All good now.

Guess it's always good to have your stuff installed by someone competent and familiar with the product they are installing.

How does a shop do this? They can’t read instructions? They don’t notice they installed it wrong when the ass sits up so high?

Yes I have had them installed for the past 5k kms.

In short, they ride quality is pretty good and very close to stock.

Pros:
  1. Car looks way better
  2. Body roll has decreased significantly
  3. Lowering and in combination to my camber set up, my understeer is completely gone

Cons (notice how everything is related to bumps):
  1. Lowered life is a little bit rough just because you have come in sideways for large bumps
  2. I'm scraping on a lot of big compression bumps
  3. On bumps, you will notice that you max compression has decreased a good amount, to the point where you are hitting the bump stops and hearing a loud "THUD"

Anyone compare this to Malek's H&R spring mod?
