Replacing my Faulty EDC-K Module

So I bought a used EDC-K Module as I finally figured out that my current one is the reason for my battery being dead. I only paid $100 but I believe the module has at least 100K miles. Should I be looking for ones with lower mileage? Does it necessarily matter? A Brand new module is $650, and my car has 100K miles on it. I feel like I've already ruled out doing that, but want to know from people who have had this same problem, and see what they did.

Edit: Found one for $300 with 44K Miles. Is this a good deal?

Thanks.

Mine went faulty one month after the warranty on my car expired my car was at 29k miles. I don't think the mileage will be an indicator of the condition of the module. The dealer quoted me something like 900 bucks to install a new one.

I ended up being a used one for eBay for 140 bucks. Which came off a car that had been totaled and had 90k miles. Has been working well for the past 2 years.

Just swapped or did you have to code it? ZCP or not?
