I hope he gets his car and comes here and posts pics. And I sure hope the first pic he posts is that of his custom stitching since that is what caused so much grief in the first place.

I'm pretty sure it was the color of the car that caused the trouble...

No. Read the original thread. They had long ago offered to make the color he wanted. The problem was getting an interior with the custom stitching that he wanted but they were having problems with getting it due to production shutting down soon.

I don't think we need to restart all that I am in this or that camp sh*t. Thats what shut down the last 3 threads. Lets just find out what happened.

This was a very interesting read. Anyone knows what happened to the car that was made in error? I'd be happy to take the poor unwanted thing off BMW's hands for about $35k or so

Did everyone see that EPIC M5 Euro Delivery thread with the original B-Thumper wrong color car on the Welt floor still? I wonder if they crossed paths and didn't even realize it... or I wonder if BMW is just letting it sit on the floor there to rot...

B Thumper was iirc a Steve THomas customer...so I'm guessing this WAS the day of his pickup?

It doesn't look that bad, but isn't great either.

Mineral grey F31 looks nice as well.
