Fox Red Interior Owners

I love my FR. Every morning when I get into it I say to myself that this fr interior is just awesome. Reminds me of how special my m3 is to me and why I spent the money on it.

No regrets here, especially I have red on both Z4 and M3. Gets a lot of compliments all the time.

I was wondering if the red color joint tape on the steering is offered as
an option... the picture in the bmwusa.com shows a blue joint. My interior
is fox extended as well.

How did you get it in red?

Bought a used 09 M3 E92 last year in space grey with fox red leather, I originally did not want it because I thought I'd regret the colors, both the grey and the red leather, but the car was a great deal and everything else I wanted was there with low miles and mint condition, so I just bought it. No regrets now, I love the look of everything post-mods, finally found a set of wheels that go well with the car (looks much better in person), and I think the red/grey combo works great together. Pictures don't do it justice, it always looks dull, but the red pops in the light (see pic below, funny I almost fell in that whole in the street, that's Philly streets for you) and then looks more brick / brown in the dark, I get nothing but sincere compliments all the time, people always saying only an M3 can pull off the red interior. The red is a unique touch that you won't see in most cars, it really stands out.

I have the interlagos blue with fox red extended leather and I absolutely love it. The first thing people compliment me on is the interior. So sexy.

And the leather is really high quality, soft. Much better than I had in my Benz or Cayman S.

I love my fox red interior. For one, it's not a BRIGHT red, so it doesn't look silly. I like how it contrasts with the reserved gray exterior, as I've got Sparkling Graphite, not Interlagos Blue or the individual colors. It's also nice because it only comes on M cars.

Love the fox red but if I were buying a coupe I would probably go with black so that I had the option of adding matching black leather Recaro's. With the red, it would be big $ to get custom seats to match...

fox red looks a thousand times better than the coral red on some of the other BMW cars! if I went with a coupe the "M3post.com special" (AW/FR) probably would have been my choice as well

Totally agreed. We have twins. SG is a rare color only offered in 08 and with so few sedans produced vs E92 and E93 models it's that much more rare. Looks great with FR!!

Fox red is a very unique color. It's not a pure red and is very subdued. It's truely classic interior color that's timeless.

The only way you would regret it is if you got it on a blue or a red car, it doesn't match a red car very well (different shades) and looks really intense on a blue car. On any other color it's by far the best interior color. Especially in extended form.
