I seriously suggest you get the C63 AMG if you do not track your vehicle. Much more room, power, features, luxurious, and looks that kill. M6 is ugly IMHO and the M3 is to me equal to the C63. M3 = more fun though than the C63... To each his own...

Wait isn't the C63 much more expensive than the M3 from what I have seen?

I would avoid a used M6 unless it has nearly the entire warranty remaining.

I'm getting 12 mpg in city only driving with a very heavy right foot. I doubt I'll need new tires before 10K miles.

I haven't driven the m6; however, i have driven the M3 and C63. The C63 has raw power and is a phenomenal car. I think the C63 looks amazing. That being said, I'd still go for the M3. The M3 is engaging to drive and looks fantastic. Any of those three cars is great. I

M3 all the way, I could've done this but I chose the M3 but each has their own taste. Just drive them all and see what fits you best.

Heres someone else who has not experienced the C63.

I get 15-17 in the city, 21-22 on the hwy

I will agree on tires, after 6k miles they aren't looking too hot in the rear

according to bmw canada, the weight differences is less than 100kg. That's like an extra passenger really. I say go m6. Can't beat that interior and v10 thunder.

m6 weight 1773kg.
m3 coupe weight 1680kg

I was gonna pull the trigger on a lightly used M5 a few months ago for about 52k, until my dad said not to. He is a smart man who understands the market better then 99.9% of the people out there. Trusting his judgment, I didn't buy. Sounded like a good deal right? Well only a few short months later, prices have fallen $3-5k. We are only a few months away from a global recession. Don't forget that.

You are in a recession now, don't worry about in two months time, by then it will be a depression!

NBER would define a recession as a significant decline in economic activity that spreads across the economy and that lasts more than a few months. Normally they go with a 6 month rule. It's been 2-3 months....

History has taught us that recessions can last for those "few months" or up to about two years.

EDIT: Sorry for going a little off topic....

See that's the problem in the States, you bend the rules, 2 month negative is the rule for recession, Germany admited recession, England has admited recession and so on, know, what the States does is, lets just drag it out a little for around 6 months. Man, just say it, the sooner your say recession the quicker you can start trying to fix it.

That's why by the time the States admits its in recession it will a depression for you guy's!

Your Banks have been bailed out 6 times since 1987, but the fundalments are sound, s**t everybody in the States must be deaf then!
