At NOLA motor sports park, I pumped $6 out of one pump. It took like 5 minutes, so I switched pumps. Credit card put a hold on my card for suspicious activity. Fortunately, I always bring some extra cash just in case.

I show up with a full tank and 26-27 gallons in jugs in the truck. I am not getting burned by that problem. I did forget the nozzle one event. Luckily they are a common fill nozzle on the VIP jugs, and in could borrow one.

I'd get one from a speed shop like Pegasus Racing. The cans sold at retail stores have that stupid safety nozzle which makes filling up harder and increases your chances of spilling or dropping the can.

Great thread revived.
My suggestions: Never run a session with less than a 1/4 tank of fuel. Do track prep prior to leaving home. Check tire pressure when tires are hot and after each session. Torque lugs only when cool, before each session. Look over car after EACH session, tires, brake pads, engine bay for leaks. If possible, take a cool off drive outside the paddock after each session to cool the brakes and engine, as well as yourself. Drink, drink and drink some more, if your pee is yellow, you are not drinking enough. Get in your car and ready 10 minutes prior to your session, ride around the paddock to bring your engine oil up to temperature....or take the same drive outside the paddock you did as your cool down after your session. Safety first, no one wins a HPDE, only people lose (as stated before)...if you feel something abnormal, come in and have it checked. Remember to dial it back on the last session of the last day....this is when most accidents happen. Drivers are tired and so is the car. Don't get the "red haze".....if you do, dial it back, let the other car go and regroup. I could go on all day.....
